The is a delicious chocolate-peanut butter fudge-like recipe. It's almost impossible to describe. It takes some time to prepare, but it's worth it.


3 Cups Sugar
3/4 Cup Margarine
2/3 Cup (5 1/3 oz. can) Evaporated Milk
6 oz. Package of Chocolate Chips
7 oz. Jar Kraft Marshmallow Cream
1 t. Vanilla
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter

Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar, 6 tablespoons margarine, 1/3 cup milk in a heavy 1 1/2 quart pan. Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 4 minutes over medium heat. Keep stirring to prevent scorching. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add 1 cup marshmallow cream and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until well blended.

Pour into greased 13" x 9" pan.

Repeat with remaining ingredients, substituting peanut butter for chocolate chips. Spread over the chocolate layer.

Cool at room temperature. Cut into squares. Makes 3 pounds.
